Hey all,

I've encountered a strange problem with animations since updating to Corona 12.

I'm getting an issue that the glare/bloom is not being rendered and saved on every frame. In addition in one scene the tonemapping as well as the bloom/glare is different between each frame. See examples attached.

This is happening across different scenes rendering from different machines locally as well as on a renderfarm.

If anybody have a solution to this I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Could you please contact us at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and attach any scene(s) where these issues can be reproduced?
Please also let us know which exact version of 3ds Max and Corona you are using. Is it Corona 12 Hotfix 1?
Are you using some kind of batch/network rendering here or is this rendered on a single machine?

OK, I have submitted the scene. Request #307185

The version being used is 3ds max 2024 and Corona 12 Hotfix 1.
Both these scenes were previously rendered in an old version of Corona and they worked fine. It's only since updating to Corona 12 Hotfix 1 this errors are occurring.

This is happening both when rendering locally and when batch/network rendering.

Cheers.

I submitted an error report when Corona12 was first released regarding this issue. I'm not sure if it has been resolved yet, but the 12.1 problem still persists

Can you please share your report link? (or support ticket number if it was logged as a ticket) Thanks in advance!

The solution which seems to have fixed the issue for PMVis was:
- Disabling the DOF highlights solver in Render Setup > Performance
- Enabling the "Compute after render" option under bloom and glare in the VFB
- Running the Corona Converter and converting the whole scene
