Hi there!

I'm having a strange issue; all my corona lights emit light (they're rectangles in this case), but the shape itself is displayed as black when rendering.
The Visible directly is turned on, as is the option Renderable, in the Object Properties.

What can be causing this problem?

Software:
3ds Max 2024
Corona 10 hotfix 2

Same here - please check in Corona 12 HF1.

Are your lights visible directly, in reflections, or in refraction? (e.g. reflected in a mirror or behind glass?)

Another thought, do they have a high directionality? Is Prevent Black Appearance checked? (the last one should be by default).

They don't have high directionality (it's set at 0), and Prevent Black Appearance is checked and greyed out...

If you have updated to Corona 12 HF 1 and still experiencing the same issue then can you please post some screenshots of what you see in VFB, light settings and your setup in 3D Viewport? You can also start a ticket with us : https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
