Another way to do this, depending on how your material would be "in reality", is by adding a clear coat layer and using the absorption there. You can think of this as e.g. when a thin gold metallic layer is sprayed onto the glass as done on the outside of some buildings. Or you can use as Pokoy suggested, the Media options and add some absorption there. Think of this as there being impurities (accidental or deliberate) inside the glass itself that tint the refraction. This one will grow stronger in effect the thicker the glass is, because it happens inside the volume of the glass. The clearcoat approach will give the same strength of result regardless how thick or thin the glass is, as it happens only at the surface.
