Hello Corona Render Community

I’m excited to share a recent animation project that showcases a luxury yacht cruising solo at sunrise. The animation captures the serene beauty of the yacht gliding across the calm, blue waters as it quietly makes its way toward a peaceful island.

For this project, I utilized Corona Renderer to achieve the realistic lighting and reflections that bring the scene to life. The first rays of sunlight were crucial in creating the tranquil atmosphere, and the powerful engines of the yacht allowed for a smooth and silent journey.

Software: 3dmax & Corona Render & Phoenix FD

Creative:Griffon Studio

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the animation and any feedback you might have.

Thank you for your time!

Best regards...

Hi,

I love the animation and have wanted to find the time to model a yacht and animate myself. Here is a link to a youtube video (see from 01:07) of a yacht of similar size and speed and you can get a good comparison of what you have done and the real life wake and yacht movement.

I have a bit of a boating background and from my memory here are a few thoughts on the animation and small details that can help. I think you have missed a trick in not including both the ensign and radar, that could be animated bringing a bit more detail and realism. A little bit of pitch and roll in the boat movement would also help as it looks like it is just ploughing through the water, which never always happens even in the slightest of conditions and much larger yachts. The bow wake also has a turbulence and can be seen in the video clip.

You have made a great start!
