i'm making a chair with chrome legs but I couldn't figure out how to avoid this reflections on chrome. any tips?

You can't, it's self reflection, but you can try to make it less prominent by making chrome material less perfect. Maybe try to darken metal's colour a bit, give it slight roughness to reflection, add some imperfection map. You can also try to adjust scene lights placement, or even add invisible blocking cards.

Also try using complex IOR, AO, distance shader, slight roughness... anything basically to add naturalistic imperfections in materials.
BTW, Chrome is quite dark IRL.

Isn't this the scene background or the bottom of the chair reflecting in the chrome?
