Tonemapping settings are kinda wonky. If I change any setting with a numerical imput nothing happens. for example: change Simple Exposure by entering in any number such as 5.0 nothing happens. If I use the up/down arrows in the VFB it works fine. If I set up a camera and check Override and enter in a number (or use the up/down arrows) it works fine.

Long story short...I have to use the up/down arrows in the new VFB. I cannot just enter in a number. Same issue I had with the Corona Lister when it first came out (which was promptly fixed in the next daily build).

[nitpicking]
Other then that as far as GUI I don't find much improvement or shortcomings. I do like the old layout better. and I do agree it would be nice to have a separate Start IR button. For me, like everyone else, I like to have everything I need at my fingertips, easy to see, easy to find, easy to click. Another example: I liked the old Render button better (and the other buttons too). Nice and big (and labeled) so easier to click on, and just click and hold for the dropdown menu. Now I have to click a tiny little sliver of a button to get the dropdown menu. Also, like most people, I work in lots of different software so having icons only may save space but is more confusing and takes more time to refresh/commit my memory or wait for the balloon help to come up.
I'll get use to it.

Thanks for the report, we will do our best to reproduce this and log it for the devs.
JFYI you can revert to the old VFB in Corona > Preferences

Thank you Maru for that JFYI. I did not know that option. And a big thank you to the whole team for the foresight in putting that preference option in there. I will probably stay with the VFB 2.0 and train my brain, to keep in step with new features. It's not like I spend a lot of time in the VFB.

    • Corona Renderer
Hello everyone; thanks for reporting this.
Unfortunately, I've been intensively trying to reproduce this issue; however, I haven't had enough luck.
I tested the mentioned behavior using the following specs:
Corona - 9 Hotfix 1, 10 Hotfix 2, 11 Hotfix 2, 12, 13 (latest DailyBuild)
Cinema 4D - S24, R25, S26, 2023, 2024
VFB 2 & Legacy VFB
Could any of you provide a detailed step-by-step list of how to reproduce this?
You can also include some screenshots or screen recordings.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Cheers!
