When it crashes, the window for the Application Error doesn't show the option to save, and it just freezes like the image below. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Version:3ds Max 2024.2 Update 26.0 - 26.2.0.22013
Use Renderer :Corona Renderer 11 hotfix2

Hi,

Can you let us know, what exactly you were doing before your scene crashed?

Thanks for replying. It happens especially during heavy processing actions:

・Performing Boolean operations while in interactive mode.
・Changing parameters of complex materials like MultiMap during interactive mode.

These issues aren't triggered by specific actions and are similar to what happened before the update. However, after updating to this version, it freezes under the conditions mentioned above. I haven't tried reinstalling yet, but I plan to. What are some possible solutions for these kinds of error messages?

Hi,

This can be caused by a lot of things, list is very big.

A good starting point to start our investigation would be to get the minidump from the crash and try to find a pattern in the crash such as it always crash during performing boolean operation or it always crash in a file when changing materials. Once we have the repro steps to reproduce the crash, we can find a solution to fix this.

I'll try to troubleshoot it a bit more on my own. Thanks for your comment.
