hi!

so this is now a project for a small developer client of ours, in which we used for the first time corona in our commercial production workflow.

and well, i have to gratulate you corona guys again! :) we were amazed by the speed and quality which is achievable in corona, compared to our good old vray we used day in day out for the last few years for those kind of images...

the modeling and also furnishing is probably quite simplistic or a bit abstract so to say, at least for the taste of most of you rendernerds out there, but that is how many of our clients including this one want their spaces to look. not so definitive, a bit abstract and more light and feeling for the space/volumes. so no photoreal still lives coming from us at the moment but that´s ok. we are working on a look which makes us and them happy.

we will probably play around with those spaces a bit more and will come up with alternative version for our personal pleasure/learing as well, at a later time. ;)

so here we go, two of the images...

cheers,

chris.

ps: lightning is done via one HDRI in the environment slot. rendering times were amazing, considering this and no fill lights and such things... post production of course, but not so much like we used to with other engines.
