I wish I could have done better with the car paint.. but getting tricky using standard Corona materials in a mix material instead of proper layering.. oh well, it'll come right? ;)

If you by mix material mean blend material, then blending two materials should be enough for a basic carpaint material. Some advanced blending material is sure needed for more complex carpaints. But for basic good looking carpaint, blend should be enough.

Yep I meant blend sorry. I tried making a metallic type paint by blending material 1) - dark red with lighter red reflection and low gloss, (with) 2) material with no diffuse and high gloss fresnel reflection. blend is 50 so the result makes a darker red. Best we can do till we get proper layering (eg shellac) :)

It's all 3D environment ;) except the sky which is HDR .
