Hello. I'm currently working on a scene for a uni project and have a problem.
I want to do an interior render and the interactive render will only alllow me to move the camera to a certain point inside the building. after that, the interacvtive render turns black and after a while it shows a very pixalated image with strange colors (but only if i set exposure very high). It seems as if some parameter changes something important at a certain point of the camera position but i cant find out which one. I render with an Hdri which works perfectly.

Does anyone know how i might fix this? I'm thankful for any help ince i have my deadline soon.

Hi,

Check the camera clipping: maybe you need to change it to something greater than zero so that the camera can, for example, see beyond a wall in the foreground that prevents it to see the room, hence the render turns black.

Hey thanks, i will try that. I found out that the camera does render but only when its not eneath a solid material. Do you thing that also has to do with the clipping?
Greetings, David

I'm not sure. Some screenshots would be useful here to better understand your issue.
Try playing with different values for Near/Far in Camera settings > Environment ranges and see it it solves your issue.

Hi,

If you are sure the camera is not inside something (A wall, furniture etc), and it is floating and should render fine, then most probably it is directly under an object, which has volumetrics enabled material and is not a capped volume. There were a few cases like this reported in the forums and it was due to bad model (not capped) and a volumetric material (intended or unintentionally) being applied.
Simple way will be to use a material override and check if the same view renders fine. It it does, then it is even more certainly because of some object above the camera with uncapped mesh and volumetric material.
This causes Corona to misinterpret the volume the camera is in and the render comes out black.

I guess that you are inside something that has standard Autodesk Physical material applied.
The converter doesnt fix this so you have to apply another material manually.

If thats the case you can use this converter for Autodesk Physical -> Corona Mtls

Hi,  thank you very much.

an uncapped mesh really seems to be the issue, since it renders when i use material override. i imported my model from archicad and think it might has something to do with the export settings there.
i try to find out what happens when i change something there.
Greetings David
