Render becomes black when I turn off mtl. override

So, I have this issue with this scene where whenever I turn mtl. override off to start working on the materials it won't render, everything is dark, both render and interactive, I do have corona sky and sun on the scene, works fine as long as mtl override is on, but when I remove the override this happens, pls help!

Definitely have a look at any windows to see what is going on there (we can't tell from the images and description, but you'd need to check the materials on them, and if any objects might be blocking light from coming in). It looks strange since I'd expect this the other way round if "preserve glass" had been forgotten to be checked, so not sure what is happening, but pretty sure the windows and glass are the cause in some way. You can try hiding those objects see if it lets light come in etc.
