The design of the RAK CERAMICS Headquarter Office (as part of an architectural design competition) was based on the existing structure. The project's location on Mollasadra Street in Tehran prompted the design to focus on maximizing visibility and aligning with the brand's visual identity, embracing a minimalist approach as the foundation of the design work. To achieve these goals, the design aimed to create a harmonious balance between light-transmitting surfaces, along with solid elements, to provide an appropriate platform for showcasing the RAK brand. This balance was realized in the main facade by incorporating negative volumes and creating side light-receiving surfaces. This not only ensured good visibility from the main street but also maintained privacy for the management area while introducing volumetric diversity to the design. Internally, the design conceptualized an open office space, using transparent box-like spaces placed alongside each other. This design approach not only met the client's requirements but also provided controlled visual depth, effectively facilitating the display of Rock's products and brand identity.
