hello, there is a problem with my render image, I have been rendering for a week, but this is the first time this problem has occurred, my renders are grainy, I reset the render settings, but it did not improve. What is the source of this problem, it was a project that I have been working on for a long time, a problem occurred for the first time.

Hi,

You need to let the Corona to render longer. If after reasonably long time there is not much improvement, please take the screenshot of your VFB while rendering and with STATS tab being visible. Also let us know if there are any warning messages from Corona, like low RAM, missing assets and so on.

===== Warning(33) =====
System is running low on RAM. You may experience excessive parsing times and/or crashes. You will probably have to simplify the scene.

33,4 GB of virtualized* RAM used by Corona + 3ds Max
41 GB of virtualized* RAM used by all running applications
15,7 GB of physical RAM installed on system
46,3 GB of virtualized* RAM provided by OS

* virtualized RAM means physical RAM + swap file on HDD/SSD

Corona RAM usage breakdown:
10 GB used by render elements
3 GB used by geometry
 The heaviest (estimated) objects are:
    YD-Grasser-Goling064: 263,9 MB
    YD-Grasser-Goling072: 170,9 MB
    YD-Grasser-Goling065: 170,9 MB
     [3925220]011: 156,4 MB
     [4018752]010: 111,6 MB
673,3 MB used by textures (CoronaBitmap only)
Loaded mip maps size: 673,2 MB out of 673,2 MB (100,00%)

The heaviest textures are:
[Name] [Resolution] [Loaded/Total size] [Loaded/Total mip map levels]

Your system does not have enough RAM to render this image as it is. Most straightforward solution is add more RAM, as 16GB is just not much at all - 32GB is kind of a minimum, 64GB kind of a sweet spot.

The other option is to reduce texture sizes etc. using the information in the error message that identifies those that use most memory. Unfortunately, when the system runs our of RAM then rendering will become very slow indeed (now it has to use the hard disk rather than RAM).

Corona RAM usage breakdown:
10 GB used by render elements

According to Corona, most of your available RAM is consumed by render elements. The most probable suspect here is lightmix. If you absolutely need lightmix to set up your lighting, reduce your render resolution to bare minimum, then try to render - if the rendering speed appears to be normal and/or there are no more low RAM warning, then set up your lighting with lightmix and bake the light changes to the scene, after that delete the lightmix and you should be able to render your scene at higher resolution again. Also make sure that you have no other extraneous render elements other than you absolutely need to have. Reducing texture resolution like it was suggested by Tom is also a good way to save precious RAM, but keep in mind that this might affect the quality of your final render, so keep an eye on this. It also goes without saying that you should close all unnecessary programs that might eat resources. Working with 16 GB of RAM is tough, i know this very well, since i was living with that amount until very recently. You will learn many tricks to fit as much as possible into it, but everything has its limits and the best option is to add at least another 16 GB if possible.
