Hi Guys,

Please bear with me as I am very new to 3dsMax and Corona but I was wondering if someone could help me with my Corona UV pattern modifier. I am trying to repeat some tiles based on my source object as pictured. I have already applied a multi-map material to it just to test the random material maps I will later use, hence the crazy colours right now.

My issue is that it seems to be repeating the tiles from the top edge down. As if they were laid vertically against the wall and it was projecting the plan view of them this way. I am trying to get it to project the source object from the front face of the tiles. I have been rotating the modelled source object and the crop box but no effect. As I said I am very new to this so it might be an easy fix but I am stuck!

The tiles should eventually look like the image with the long tiles but without the funny shape at the top which it is getting from essentially having the top view of the tiles stretched by the walls UV map. It also doesn't seem to make a difference if I change the UV map settings on either end from box to face, planar etc.

Would appreciate any help you could give!

It's hard to understand from your description and screens what exactly the issue is. If it's about incorrect source object orientation, then try to reset xform on it, or alternatively rotate the mesh at sub-object level. Hopefully this will fix your issue, but if not, try to describe it more clearly, so we have clue what's going on.

P.S. it's not UV Pattern, it's The Pattern ;]
