Good Morning,

My name is Sachin Mahajan and I am from India. This is my new personal project Vertiz 950 By HGR Arquitectos to study new Corona Renderer. Ondra Karlík did a great job in developing this new engine.

Rather then converting old scene in Corona I decided to do a completely new project to study Corona. Initial model was done in Sketchup then imported in to max.

I really like Corona. Its very simple to use and very powerful. All the following images were done at default settings. Path Tracing + HD Cache. I made no changes to engine default's as I saw on forum Ondra Karlík mentioning in most cases default settings would work fine, which is really amazing. Now one can actually invest more time in making scene better then playing with settings. Progressive render rocks. Its a real time saver. Corona scatter is nice too. AO is very useful. All though I am yet to understand some of the features.

I would like to thank Martin Geupel (http://www.racoon-artworks.de) for Advanced Corona Material Converter. I think this script was the only reason I took interest in Corona. Let me explain why. Vray is in business from a long time now. Most of the Model collections made by companies are in Vray or Mental Ray format. Most of the guys own such collections and it would be very time consuming to re-do each material from scratch. Specially when your scene have many pre made models and materials. Advanced Corona Material Converter saves you lot of time and you can always adjust your materials after converting them. So its all good. I hope Martin Geupel will continue his developement on this useful script.

Some project info is as follows:

Architects: HGR Arquitectos
Location: Doctor José María Vertiz, Mexico City, Federal District, Mexico
Architect In Charge: Marcos Hagerman
Area: 3,426 sqm
Year: 2013
Softwares: Sketchup, 3Ds Max, Corona Renderer.

I hope you will enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed creating them . I am excited to read what you think about it. Please do leave your valuable comments

Your renderings are great, but that architecture looks so claustrophobic... there's no way i could live in such place.
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.

Thank you and welcome to congested city life where Architects need to be innovative in small spaces like these. :)

Lovely images you did there, especially for your first time with Corona. :)

You're welcome! Glad you find it useful :)
I will, of course, keep updating the script when there is new stuff to be added.

Render time was around 5 Hour 30 min or less. I think I forgot to fix Albedo for white curtains behind the windows..
