Something close to this was possible some time ago ( https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,577.msg4397.html#msg4397 ) but now there is no CoronaColorMapper map so it would be harded. Also, in your examples the colours vary close to hard edges so it would be best to paint these maps manually. You can also try with inversed AO but it may be tricky.

Use Gradient Ramp instead, set it to linear and you can get the same result as in the topic.

Maybe with some smoke map blending two different metal materials?... Also some grain in the reflection slot...
