material is showing in all things thats not seleceted

Can't tell from the image. The material is definitely applied to the walls and ceilings. Could be one similar but not identical (so that select by material only selects the floor), could be that copy is not set to display in the viewport. Do a Select Material on the walls and see what that shows as being applied to them.

I am not on the support team so don't have that capability - probably unnecessary anyway, as you can always grab the material from the walls and show us here in an image what material is applied, or even better you could send the scene by attaching it to a ticket at https://support.chaos.com/requests/new

Please make sure you are not using the "render selected" option in Render Setup > Scene.

Also, I highly recommend updating to Corona 9 HF1 - https://corona-renderer.com/download

Maybe you have the material override option enabled in scene tab? (please see attached screenshot)

Then it needs to be off :) Material Override applies that material to every object in the scene, overriding any material that was applied to it.
