I am trying to bake a texture to use in a videogame.
One of the requirements is to add detail to the material using a displacement map and bake the resulting texture with displacement into a flat map with all the light information.
To accomplish this I;
- created a plane and added a displacement map to its material.
- created another plane with a projection modifier and added the first plane to the reference geometry.
- added the second plane to bake to texture with projection in the "projected from" dropdown.

The problem is that when I look at the result it seems as if the cage of the projection is not being used, as if the displacement was sliced.

Unfortunately Corona officially does not support projection baking. People used to find workarounds to somehow make it work in the past, but i heard that lately none of those workarounds work anymore. Personally i didn't try to bake with Corona for a very long time now, so i can't confirm, nor deny that.
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.
