not more than two slaves joining on DR

When starting a DR job not more than two slave-machines seem to "join" the party..
they are pinging all the time but don't start max properly.
Anyone knows this issue or is it just me/my network?

edit: it is totally random - every machine basically is able to distributed but only if the particular one is one of the first two to start,
the other ones just "wait".

I am planning to revisit DR in near future and try fixing all the various bugs people seem to have. I will contact you then and we can try working towards solving the issue.
