Corona rendering black?

I can't really seem to properly render certain specific textures, primarily those meant to be rendered as bitmaps. Weird thing is the texture does appear on the screen when working - meaning it is properly linked -, and it does appear if rendered with the standard renderer.

I'm currently using Corona 8 for C4D S26 on Monterey

Are you using C4D materials or Corona? The one assigned looks like a C4D mat. If so, can you try using a Corona mat to see if that helps?

I'll be damned. Thank you very much, that did help a lot.

For anyone interested I created a new (legacy) material through the node editor and linked the bitmap there.

On a side note though; before updating to S26, normal C4D Materials did use to work, any idea why this might be?

Cool, I'm glad to hear that helped. I don't have S26 installed so I cannot say exactly why it wouldn't be working. I'm happy to look into though.

The solution is simple: Use the V9 daily, it has the fix you need.

Yes, 8 is not compatible with S/R26 yet, until the hotfix comes out - but that hotfix is already in the 9 daily for folks to test (and it's the safest point in time to use a daily, since nothing has actually changed so you are not risking crashes, weird results, etc., if you just can't wait for the hotfix for 8 :) )
