I keep hearing that S26 doesn’t break any plugins. Does that mean that Corona should work? Because I’ve installed it and don’t have Corona in this version.

You can copy all the plugin bits separately and they will work. There is a hotfix coming with an updated v8 that has an installer that is S26 aware - or the new v9 dialy build also works.

we have copied all plug in data from Corona in R26. The menu appears, but the render screen remains black. This applies to Interactive Render Viewport and also to Cororna VFB. The licence is OK. Any idea? Windows 11, R26

The daily build of Corona 9 has S/R 26 compatibility, see https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=36221.0
If you don't want to use the daily, this will appear as a Corona 8 hotfix before too long.

Hi,

So when is V8 going to be useable with R26?  Tom's previous comment is now over a month old.  I understand that the daily build of 9 is compatible, but we can only use the stable release candidates here for client work - no daily builds or beta software allowed.  Is this ever going to happen?  We'd like to upgrade to R26 for some of the new features, but are held back by lack of Corona support.  I also have training clients and students just now getting Cinema or upgrading and they are hesitant since the stable release isn't available yet.

Thanks for any info you can share.
