Hi all.

I was going to post this in the this post (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=35300.msg193691#msg193691) but not sure if it's a separate issue.

I've need to do a rebrand on a job.... changing colours, textures etc.

Other than that nothing has changed in the scene.  It's been recached and rerendered.

But as you can see it had an issue with lighting.

I had no issues with this the last time I rendered the animation.

I'm doing tests now.

Adaptive ON - has the issue
Adaptive OFF - the issue is reduced but still there

Lights > Occlude other lights has been turned off - no difference from the adaptive OFF test

The last animation was rendered with Corona 6.  We're now using Corona 7.

I'm not sure if installing C6 will fix it... but it's a faff to have to do that.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

------------------------------

I've turned off all visibility settings on the lights (visible in reflections, refractions etc) - hasn't made a difference

Here are the test renders:

4K or UHD Cache? What happens if you try the other one? :)

Hi.

I'm using UHD.

I've just installed C6 and am loading the scene now

I know....presume I have to redo the cache but I'm going to test it calculating every frame at first.. .will then test a cached version.

If none of those work I'll test 4K.  Unless you think that 4K isn't worth testing.

If I get a working version with C6 then I may just stick with that for this.  I was hoping to send it this week but doesn't look like I can.

So, after a number of tests.

Using Corona 6 seems to have fixed it.

Which is both great but also frustrating as I need to recache it but it also wiped all of my render settings  etc.

I'm going to keep testing to be sure.

One question..... ummm, why?

Why would a scene that was originally rendered in C6 not work properly in C7?

I'm happy to send a scene over to you when I'm able.

I can send the C6 scene/cache & C7 scene/cache

-----------------------

I've even tried replacing ALL lights in the C7 scene.  Replacer scripts are a godsend sometime.  Nope..... didn't work either.
