Constant crashes on only two renders nodes, my one other node and the main workstation are running fine.

All machines running C4D R25.117 and Corona hot fix 2 (recently re-installed on node 1).

Bug report attached.

Please update when you can.

Thanks

Can you give the hardware specs of the two crashing nodes, and the two non-crashing other machines?

And also the Corona version number would be handy. You've only mentioned the hotfix. V5, V6, V7?

Hi,

Yes sure.

WORKSTATION
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
256 GB (256 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
RTX 3090

RENDER NODES 1,2 and 3
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz   3.40 GHz
32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Workstation is running Windows 10 21H2, nodes 20H2. Now all three nodes are crashing and the workstation is crashing too so... I restart the nodes and render just across the nodes under team render. They continue for a while. I've stopped including the workstation in the team render machines.

History
The project successfully ran with R25.115 and Corona 7 hotfix 2 (re-downloaded again today to be sure of latest version). I updated to R25.117. Crashes began. Today I uninstalled R25.117 so now all machine are back in the same spec the project was originally created with.

Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks

Brief update; workstation and all nodes now running 21H2. Everything is up to date.

C4D R25.115 on main workstation crashes every time I try to do a single test frame render. Bug report always states the crash as 'Corona_Release.dll'.

To try to complete the work I have resorted to just using the three nodes (and restarting the client server when it crashes).

Hi,

Do you have an update on the driver issue? I'm am on a deadline to finish my current project and the constant crashes are making this impossible.

Thanks,
Damian

Rebus Farm have advised that there is a bug in Corona Renderer and the following settings mitigate a crash:

General Settings
Time limit: set >10H

Noise>=1

Passes can be set by the user.

This worked for one frame and then resorted to crashing as usual.

Please respond to this issue.

Can I have a refund for the month? This failure has forced me to incur render farm costs. Corona 7 hotifx 2 will no longer works.

Thanks.
