Hello, people!

There is a long time that I have this problem, but I'm trying to solve it now.

Everytime I render my projetcts, without change any settings about blur or DOF my renders ends with a expressive blur.

Just when I turn on sharpening/blurring option, at post production, it get's better. But it's huge difference and I don't want to turn on sharpening/blurring everytime I render, because I guess I'm setting something wrong.

Does someone know what it can be?

There is some imagens about it, and my camera setttings.

What about Image filter, which one do you use?

What's your output resolution?

The higher the resolution you render the more defined results you will get. You can also try Tent image filter at 1.2-1.5, but do note you might end up introducing aliasing in your image.

There was a very similar thread recently: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=32584.0
You simply need to wait a bit longer for your image to become sharper.
Alternatively, you can switch filter type to Tent, but this will most likely result in slightly more noise, especially visible at the beginning of the rendering.

Yeh this isn't quite what I was referring to, I certainly let my renders go longer than shown here.  I'm rendering at 5k pixels using Noise Threshold and let it go to 2% noise and I don't do any denoising in Corona, I prefer to do it in PS

Thank you all for all the answers. I will try to change the filter to Tent. Usually, I let my renders for 6 hours, in 1350x1080 at a Ryzen 7 cpu, and it stills with this blur.

Soon, I'll be back here to tell you my results with Tent.

The renders are not blurry, they are soft and that's how it should be. If you want sharp images, then do post-process sharpening with built-in VFB tools or in Photoshop. Afterall, it's much easier to sharpen soft image, than to soften oversharpened one. It's not without a reason, sharpening is done as the last step in post processing.
