This is my first full conversion from Vray to Corona, (all be it from late last year) via the neat little "Corona Material Converter" (written by Martin Geupel, Check out his website if you haven't already! :-) (http://www.racoon-artworks.de/?cat=5) (Thank you mate love your work))
All up it took around 8 mins from a Vray scene to a acceptable Corona scene and about 20 + hours of rendering.. I just added in the Corona lights etc,
It obviously needs allot more work but I totally dig the simplicity of Corona. I think it is better than Maxwell!! Looking forward to the future of Corona! Thanks a heap Ondra Karlík for all of your extremely hard work and also to the very talented team you have assembled.

Thanks, glad you like my stuff! :)

About your renderings: Rendertimes are very high, it should be way faster. There may be something in wrong in your scene. There's still noise in the interior and the foliage looks very weird (like self illuminated) in the exterior =/
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.

Yes! it really does need some work... colours, textures and lighting have a long way to go (my bad), when I get a chance I will go through all of the documentation and learn how Corona actually works but I was really impressed with the convenience of your script and the speed I could convert the vray scene into a half way decent test image with almost no work & in between deadlines. It would be a good place to start to refine the image and reduce the killer render times.
(I think the glowing plants is a result of the V-ray proxies merged into the scene)

I'll test Alpha 6 next week in between projects.
