Is there a way to have one hdri for lightning and another one just for backround? (using vrayhdri mtl)

cant seem to figure it out using the eviroment override slots..

Hi! There is appropriate slots in Environment section. Upper one is for everything including lighting, but if you want to override background, just put another HDR to "directly visible" slot. But there is one problem (I dont really know is it a bug or not) that when you'll watch your background image through mirror, you will see lighting HDR, not "directly visible". Maybe some body know why it happens ?

That's why there is reflection and refraction ovverides as well :]

But I guess reflection slot also affects overall reflection, or not?

Of course. If you want that reflection would be overrided on certain models only, it needs to be done per material.

ya i thought it was similar to vray option overrides.. 


seems like i just saw the "lightning hdri" because i hadnt the override one on refraction and reflection too..

thx a ton, was becoming crazy
