How to install new versions
Hello,
I just want to know how to install a new version. Currently I have version 5 installed. Do I have to uninstall it and then install version 6?

No need, just run the installer and it will take care of everything for you.

(The one exception is if you want to have multiple versions installed at the same time, in which case see https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000066819 )

Oh just noticed this was under the C4D thread - still applies about just running the installer and it updates, but the multiple versions link was for Max, sorry about that.
