Hi guys,
I need help please, I'm working on an interior project, the problem is when I put corona light, light plane casts some shadows and I can still see the plane even after I disable (visible directly - Visible in reflection - visible in refraction )

I attached a photo to make the problem more clear.

I don't know if this a bug from corona it self, or I do a mistake which cause this problem with me.

If any one can help I would be grateful.

Thanks

Did you try to uncheck 'occlude other lights'? Not sure this will work in this case, it might still receive/reflect GI.

Yes sir, I tried to uncheck it and the problem remains.
Light plane is still visible.

Hi, please make sure that your light plane is set to be invisible in reflections, while not directly visible as a mesh. To avoid the shadowcasting near the ceiling and walls you will have to make the dimensions of your plane smaller and make sure they aren't near or clipping neighboring surfaces.

It might be worth considering lowering your intensity and play with directionality so that you will feather-out the absence of light on light plane edges.  Lastly, you might want to consider including an actual spot and try to emulate real light. What exactly are you trying to achieve?

I'm sorry sir, but I did what you said and tried to render again and same problem remains.

I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed by corona team.

Do note that if your directionality is high (or the light plane to close to a surface) what you witness being reflected on your walls is not the light plane but the light that is being cast on the directed surface, f.e. the red wall here: https://corona-renderer.com/comparer/LJAppP

For your case, it might be better to move the light plane bit further on the back and consider using object exclusion under the nonphysical properties of your light. Your light directionality should be less than 0.5 and your light intensity enough to create a smooth transition between the walls.
