Hi,

I've been trying to find a method for re-using proxies in new scenes. The problem is they don't come with materials applied.

Is there any plan to make it possible for proxies to store material information?
In the meanwhile, is there any workaround for this situation?

Yes, there is workaround - save max files with proxies and merge them when you need it, proxies will come with pre-assigned materials.

We also do have plans for storing materials inside proxies. Right now I think what Romullus suggested is the best workaround.

Thanks for the workaround. It's good to know this is on the plan list.
