Render Settings are part of Max, so the "Preset" at the top of the Render Setup dialog lets you load and save render settings. Head into your scene that has the setup you want, save it as a preset, load your other scene, load the preset. You can choose which Render Setup settings to save, and which to load, so you could save just the Render Elements, or you could save the whole preset then just load the Render Elements from it, etc.
