My first Corona - Stairs WIP

It's still rough and needs a better pass on the Displacement and Bump. It also needs to left to run for longer to remove a little noise but it's my first render in Corona using Corona from scratch and I intend to learn this rather wonderful renderer :)

there is actual built project like this, i just can put my thumb on it. Probably in Germany or eastern Europe. It was like ww2 site or something. looks good

Thanks, yes it was from a photo - there was a bunker they carved through and made a path and it led through to a lake or river. The photo looked like it had used a long exposure and had great detail on the image despite the low light - mine render isn't as good but I tried to recreate the slightly sinister atmosphere

I did some more work on the bump and displacement earlier and after fighting the displacement on the corner of the cross beams decided to just lose it completely - renders left a dark edge where the 2 smoothing groups were.. any advice on how to prevent that happening is welcome :)

A re-rendered version - I'll try and render it out bigger and apply some post but I'm almost happy enough to post it to the gallery... almost...

Try to assign some grungy texture to glossiness map of your concrete material. Now reflection is just too uniform.
