Hey guys, I just added  a board to my scene and applied a reflective material to it so that it can work as a reflector to illuminate the product’s shadow a little bit.

But the result shows that there seems no big difference in the exposure of the shadow.

How can I solve this issue, apart from adding a new light to the scene?

It seems that none of scene lights are pointed in the direction of reflector. All light that bounces from the reflector, was bouncing from some surface at least once. That means light bounced from reflector is very dim compared to overal luminance of the scene. On the other hand, highlights on your object are already overblown - you should sort this out before throwing more light on it.
