Can someone tell me how can I create coloured wood materials like this(attached image) in corona renderer, I'm using corona with 3ds max although any software method will work. And also I can change the colour of grains to something else.

Just place in diffuse your color or coronacolor map and change it as you need. Bump and gloss maps from wood. Very simple setup

Thank, and how can I change the colour of the grains to something else from the base color??

If you need painted wood make setup like this
It do not have color grains, because you put plain color like paint.

If you need grains and change color, you need to put texture in diffuse from wood, and add color correction node
like this
