Hey everyone,

This is my first post here and my first project with Corona. Absolutely love it already. So easy to use and seems like you get amazing results just from the default settings.

The only issue I found, was that I couldn't get all the noise out of the glass on the table. Is it a case of just letting the render run until it's all gone? Or are there specific settings that would help?

The full project is on my Behance page but here are a few images taken from it.

Software used: 3DS Max, Corona and Photoshop.

All feedback welcome.

Thanks!

There are some really nice details here, good job!

What was your approach to modeling / texturing the baseboards? Did you bevel / chamfer the floorboards or use the rounded edges shader?

Thank you very much!

The baseboards were modelled using the sweep profile script in 3DS Max. Nothing exciting there. For the texture, I made a custom texture map in Photoshop by blending lots of different brushstrokes and using them in the bump slot.

And for the floor, I chamfered them but might try something else next time. Looks a bit fake close up. Maybe they need to be sharper?
