for practice im am re-rendering evermotion scenes from my collection to see if i can match how they where made with vray. here is my first test

render time with Vray?

vray render is photoretouched? it seems to be more crispy.

your post production could be better. i prefer the raw. however, whats the vray render time?

Vray render time on my system is about 10mins with Vray 3.0

Here is a raw render from vray but it doesn't look like the above, i think Evermotion also did some post work

I also worked a bit further to tweak materials and played around with gamma and here is another Corona render with no post work in the same render time

For my the vray image looks more saturated. The glass in the corona render looks more natural. I dont know if this is for the material parameters or not.

vray glass is more reflective

the metallic parts in Corona are rendered black

the suns don't match.

I decided to do a small animation with this scene, here is a quick low quality render (PT 16 HD cached 1024 @2 passes, 1 min per frame)
will upload a more final high pass after it renders over night

lol i thought about that as well but i was not sure, i used i time lapse video on a plane, i should probably flip it around
