Hello,

I'm on Mac with Cinema 4D R21 and Corona 5. I have a workstation and 3 slaves. Everything is on a 1Gb network...

When I try to render an image with team render, at the beginning everything works fine but after a while i lose 1 slave and then a second slave (Frame synchronisation failed). I restart the 2 slaves and it's working again for some time and then again I loose 2 slaves (not always the same slaves)...

I have tried ARBITRATED in the team render settings but it's not working. I get a black frame...

What can I do... What is causing this error (Frame synchronisation failed) ?

Thanks for any help.

I'd try sending data in larger chunks, but less often. At a guess the network is getting overloaded with traffic or suffering from collisions. In the Team Render settings under Corona, raise the update interval, and raise the max packet size - try something like 30 s for update interval, and 256 or 512 for packet size. May take experimentation, unfortunately, there's no hard and fast math to figure out the optimal, sorry.
