This is a project i did awhile back with vray and testing with corona, grass and tress scattered with multi-scatter

The problem i seem to have is the time it takes to re-render between renders to see changes made, the scene is only 7million polys but it takes about 2mins to do the "Building acc. structure" (which is not long but becomes a pain when you re-render every 5mins or so)

are there any tips anybody can give in order to speed up these times or do i have to just switch of multi-scatter while i work

I like to much Corona GI, it´s amazing!!!

A little bit tweaks, for example the grass, and the sports court tracks.

Sorry my english, I hope you understand.

What is the point of rerendering every 5 minutes an image in almost 5K resolution? I would use region or lower your settings or resolution. With Vray you would have to wait an hour to get that quality. Your scene is 7mln polys but your trees are scattered as proxys so they are not taken into account. I think the best way to speed it up is to turn them off. Good luck with your images.

Yes its 5K now for presentation but when i work i work at the default 640x480 till i'm done with material editing and light set up.

another question from another scene that has 30millins polys (according to corona) but its just proxy vegetation, why does my ram go through the roof, my 24GB can handle it (this scene above just took 12GB), and i wonder how Polymax  got to almost a billion

Oh, so its precalculating your low res render that long? Did you try higher res but using region? It works for me.

Tried that and doesnt seem to change anything, turning off multiscatter is still the fastest option
