Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help?
I need to render out the same part of an object many times (3ds max19) but with a different corona material applied and saved each time (using viewport selection). I have set up corona select material in one of slate editor tabs, and then I'm told I can do maybe a simple animation to render them out individually, which is great. But I cant get the material to change each time and save in the animation frames. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm told that I might be able to do this in maxscript, but i have no idea what to do with that. Even if someone knows how to do it and can set me.up for it or write the script, I'm happy to pay a small amount for it ( I have no idea of the work involved, so please let me know if this is simple)
Any help would be so appreciated!

Yes, no need for scripting this, it should be straight forward: Activate Auto Key, go to some frame, change selected slot in Corona select material and a key is created. If it does not work for frame 1 in the first place, check Customize -> Preferences Settings -> Animation "Auto Key Default Frame" and set it to "0".

Then: Render Setup -> Common Parameters -> Time Output -> Range: 0 to X if you have set your select material to slot 1 at frame 1 and to X at frame X. Adding an underscore to the base output name in "Render Output" helps to get nicer file names (frame number gets appended there).

Good Luck
