Either dark or white, monochromatic color compositions are the toughest ones. It is where surface properties, form and lighting come to play and either emphasize visual impression (thus experience) or in a moment (~3sec) kill it altogether.  || You'll need to take care of it by yourself & make your own.

And about being it beautiful or ugly - those are merely a different, individual, personal perspectives on aesthetics in general, which are often just a waste of life to argue about (De gustibus non est disputandum). Also, too many perfect shit in golden ratio or thirds make the piece dull, boring, ugly... :p
see ;) there's a whole science on the aesthetics of ugliness. Helps to know Eco's "Bruttezza" ;)

nailed it thats why i stopped taking anything serious a long time ago
one thing i know for sure, the longer i stay on project tweaking and rerendering anything, the more i start to hate it. so i need to step up my game and find a final :)

We all* are confronted to our works becoming banal, stale in our eyes which we tend to find repulsive so the sooner one rebels against the sooner it overcomes and grows out of the phase. It's a challenge, so simply set your deadline and stick to it. Here's where we find our weaknesses to strengthen up and start to discipline ourselves.

You're not far from the finish line... and although this is - the final stretch, the longest path - it's still, mere illusion ;)

So simply do the best you can since we always grow learning something new about ourselves for the next time to be better prepared. Wabi-Sabi
adding complexity like:
- airborne, dew and other particles,
- mixing noise, giving more diversity to surfaces,
- and finally emphasize fidelity and "drama" in the image...
... or just take notes to self with a goal to do short exercises during the next "meanwhile" (~30min on "How to...")

:)

But instead of that yellowish surface, maybe try OSB-board material ?

tbh, osb is exactly what i am aiming for but i cant find any solid seamless high quality shader for that. even on cc0 textures, they dont provide the exact look i am after. or maybe i am just too lazy to reshade it in photoshop for higher resolution :)
i think i am calling it quit today, and i am gonna re-render region of osb in last shot tomorrow

Nice images! You could always try Poliigon's Wood Engineered Generator to create the OSB textures you need.;)

Nice images.
Why do people always show houses built on rocks.
Its one of the last places you should build a house, and its the most expensive.

thanks for feedback everybody.

i am having issue though. or is it not? started this morning. when i installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (idk if it makes any diffrence, but i have always thought adobe has this enjoyment  to mess up your system).

i am re-rendering 3rd camera view, with improvements, etc, nothing much heavier. but after 20min i got like 3 passes (i remember rendering first time on even bigger resolution it was like 20+ passes already on same time). i noticed terrible cpu spikes on task manager going from 95% - 100% usage. at Procceses tab there is nothing suspicious.

i uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
after restart - it is like this 99% - 100%, pretty much flatline. what is up with that?

still rendering this shot

from 100% with no spikes it has gone to ~90-99% cpu usage. pc starting to lag too. rays too have came from 1000k to 700k. i have no clue what is going on.
