Hi Guys
i want to play with tone mapping without affecting the background.
my situation is: i add corona catcher to the plane so i get shadows .. want to work in tone mapping but don't wanna the white background to be affected!
i could do that with Photoshop by having only the product and shadows then add white background in Photoshop.. but i have to make 36 renders of the product :'( and will be extremely hard to make every image by itself.
Thanks in advance,

Corona Lover

Use CoronaTonemapControl texmap. Plug it between shadowcatcher and your background map and untick exposure option. keep in mind that interactive rendering needs to be restarted in order to see effect.

Unfortunately, that's how shadowcatcher works. Luckily you can easily change that with rayswitch material. There was recent discussion about that in the forum, i'll find and post link to it later, now i have to go with other business.

Wooow that helped pretty good for now.
the brighter image is with shadowcatcher mat. (problem under bottle)!
the other image solved the problem with rayswitch material.
Thanks a lot

PS: i think it's better solution too as i donot have to restart the interactive render.. faster workflow

It's great to see that you figure it out. You also can plug Corona material into rayswitcher's global illumination slot and control the colour of bounced light that way.
