About 1/10 times i go save an interactive render (while it's rendering) my whole max just hangs (blue spinning disc) forever. It never comes back. Happens on all files. Don't know why it happens only 1/10 times, seems to be random.

Any help is appreciated.

Can you catch a minidump next time it happens? Hangs and freezes can have one generated just the same as a crash, see the section "Crashes, Errors, Freezes - Collecting the Minidump File if Autodesk Error Report Window is not Available" on https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000524006-how-to-report-issues-3ds-max. That would let us see what's happening (code-wise).
