Hi,
I tried to install the recent daily build (corona-6-3dsmax-daily-2020-02-20) on... 3ds max 2013. Version 5 worked and even some daily builds of Corona 6 could be installed in 2013.

So during this last installation, there were no errors. But when I launched  3dsmax it said I have corona 5 installed. I guess the update did not work after all.

I reinstalled the daily build it using "Custom mode". Then I noticed that there are only 2014 - 2020 versions available.

So, Is it already decided that 3ds max 2013 will not be supported?
If so, I will need to cancel my subscription ( I have a box license with a subscription for updates).

It would be nice to get some type of warning.
I still hope that is a temporary glitch and somehow 3ds max 2013 will still be supported.
I look forward to any news and answers about it. Cheers

Hi,
Indeed 3ds max 2013 isn't supported anymore in Corona V6. This is from one of the daily build's changelog:

  • Removed support for 3ds Max 2013. This 3ds Max version is barely used anymore and maintaining it took too much from our time which could otherwise be spent on making new features.

Hi,

Romullus is indeed correct. 3ds Max 2013 is no longer supported from Corona v6 DB 2020-01-31 onwards.

Unfortunately we can't maintain legacy versions of 3ds Max forever as it is too time consuming, this time can instead be spent on developing new features.

Thanks,

Rowan
