Both Intel getting into GPUs and AMD testing Infinity Fabric for absolutely everything, we might see some interesting solutions in 2-3 years horizon.
My workstation is prepared to install 4 GPUs if that becomes benefit in future.
I think we might see more power in smaller form factors.
