Hi guys, I'm using corona from a while and I'm trying to add a volumetric light in this scene but I can't reach the result that I want. I've followed this tutorial but I can't set up the scene to see those ''God rays''. Can someone please help me to understand what I'm doing wrong?

We'd need to see a) an example of the results you are getting and b) the scene set up (a look at the layout of the scene, some info on its scale, and the settings in your volumetric material). BTW usually problems with volumetrics are to do with scale, since a close up of a pencil on a desk will need different distances for absorption than a room than a street than a landscape, so that might be a starting point. Unfortunately, without seeing your results and set up, no-one will be able to advise on what is wrong :)

EDIT, ah I see there is a scene attached - best to call that out in your description text, as at first glance my eyes just thought that was a signature line :)

The scene doesn't contain any volumetric material, can you share one where you have that set up so we can see what you were doing? Thanks!

Here's a scene to play with, I didn't spend time on this so it may have things that don't fit your needs :)

- Added volumetric material, and added it to the global volume slot
- Adjusted absorption to near white, scattering to white, played with absorption distance
- Increased the intensity of the sun significantly
- Adjusted directionality of Scattering in the volume material
- Set it to single bounce in the volume material, as this makes "beams" more defined through the volume
- Made materials darker to let the bright volumetrics show up against them, I just turned down the diffuse as the lazy approach
