Hello,

-When I initiate the first render in IR it shows the lighting I desire which i worked on adjusting in real-time.
-When I press stop and press render again without closing the IR, it shows a completely different render/lighting.
-When I just render in C4D picture viewer I get the second render result :(

Video: http://cloud.eg.sa/LkFxYr8

What's happening and how to fix it to be always the first lighting setting, how can i fix it so that I get the first result in my final render?
It's very difficult to use IR in real-time to adjust the lighting then be surprised with the final result.

Win 10/ C4D R21.115/ Corona 5 (All latest)

Regards,

Hi!

Are you using any instanced lights? The IR and final rendering should be identical, apart from some small quality settings. The differences should definitely not be so big.

Would it be possible to send us your scene for testing to https://corona-renderer.com/upload ?
If you cannot send the whole scene for any reason, a part of it would be enough too, if the bug is still happening there.

Ok found out why. the wall had a material tag and then i deleted the material. So if the object had the material tag (with question mark) it will make the first IR pass too bright!

Yeah, we discovered it too. It's a different interpretation of material assignments in some situations. We will fix this soon, but in the meantime, you can delete the empty material tags as a workaround
