Hi

After installing Corona 5 for 3dsMax 2018 & 2020, he Light mix resets when you rebuild after adding a new light or if you rebuild at any point.  This happens in both 2018 & 2020

Let me know if someone else has already reported this, I did have a good look but couldn't see it reported.

Cheers
Jamie

This was an intentional decision in V5, however we are aware that some users are not happy about it. We are currently looking for the best solution to this situation.
Unfortunately there is no way to have this behavior back in V5. Can you check if saving LightMix presets and then re-loading them would help, at least partly?

Why this is "intentional decision" , this has been driving me crazy lately ,I thought this is a bug that is going to be fixed soon .. so when I put a new light in my scene I want to have my old lights colors and intensity .. you guys really need to get this back :D .. or at least do voting .. I don't want to be rude but this is the worst decision you have made with all due respect

Thanks for replying so quickly.
I have checked that saving the Light mix, then adding a light then regenerating the light mix and then reloading the saved light mix mostly works.  If you have a sun in the scene it reloads at at 1.0 even if you had at a different value.

Although a work around how light mix worked previously was a thousand times better.  It would be awesome if we could get it back to how it was - I'm not sure what the reason would be for having it the way it is in V5.

Agree, this is very frustrating... the most powerful asset of corona is the ease of use of the light mix....or was.

I agree previous method was better. The new one is very confusing.

Best Regards
