Hello, I have followed this tutorial (
) to render a 3D model into a photo which works great and I am able to place a grid which I can use to move the object and manage its perspective.

Is there a way to alter some of the process to then render this using corona?

I have been playing around with the background and light and swapping the routing from the c4d to corona way but I am getting no results.

I have attached a screenshot of my current C4d layout.

Any help would be great as I am relatively new to corona, thanks!

Wow. That is amazing, exactly what I am trying to achieve. Is there a trick to matching up the perspective so well or is it a case of trial and error? I have seen a lot of tutorials with cars and seem to see people testing it until it 'looks right'.

I haven't got c4d on my current machine so can't check the file just yet but can't wait, thank you for such a great response!

Usually just trial and error - you probably have some idea how it should look so have a good starting point. Then the beauty of Corona is you can start IR, and adjust the camera view and/or the object position until everything looks just right, so the "trial and error" isn't that bad (it isn't "make a guess, render, wait and see how it looks, discover it wasn't quite right, stop, adjust, press render....")

PS - unless you know exact dimensions of the scene in the photo and of the object, the location of the camera, height of the camera, focal length of the camera that took the background image, and all that good stuff, in which case you could set up the scene accurately even without IR.

Hi, you could try adding a Corona sky with a compositing tag, uncheck "seen by camera" and then lower its intensity to match the existing shadows.
