Hello,

I have just set up corona render nodes and when I send render jobs via backburner it seems they are rendering using the 3ds Max native VFB rather than the Corona VFB. It seems to rendering fine using the corona frame on the computers with a workstation license. I'm wondering if there is a setting I'm missing to activate that or is that the expected behavior for render nodes?

These are the software specs for all the machines:

3ds max 2020.2
Corona 5
Windows 10

Thanks,

Marwan

Thank you Frood. But I have this checked in both the common render setup tab and in the backburner network job assignment dialog. The topic you linked seems to be an issue where there is no VFB at all. I actually have the corona VFB working on the computers with the workstation license. My issue is it renders using the native VFB on the computers with the render node license. This issue is not resolved by the topic you linked to.

The link was more about the licensing issue if displaying the Corona VFB on BB nodes without 3ds Max license. Your Backburner servers: Do they have a (seat) 3ds Max license?

Good Luck

Thank you. I missed that part. I didn't realize it was this way by design
