NSC and RAL colors

Hi, I would love if anyone can help me with how to get the right NSC or RAL colors with Corona in 3DS max. I want to use the exact color code on both plastic and metal, I try to convert color codes to RGB and use the RGB values on corona color and then to output map and to refl.color but that does not come out right. And I want both the plastic and the metal to be matte..If someone please have some suggestions I would be very thankful...

What is that "output map" used for? And reflection color should not be changed from white unless you are doing metal materials. Maybe you could show an example of what's not coming our right? Usually it's just putting the converted values into a material or corona color map (as you did) and that's it.

Thank you so much for your reply. I want one of the materials I´m doing to be metal, that is why I´m using the output map. I even tried to plug it to refl. gloss but that is changing the color too. I want it to look like matte metal, what do you suggest I use for the settings?..thank you :).

Maybe that's a just a misunderstanding of "metal" because there is just no metal which graciously shines in any RAL color by itself :] It would be coated, carpaint or something similar. Maybe you should just show an example of what you are after.

If you want to have it just more "shiny" then do the usual for a basic metal material: diffuse=0, reflection=1, raise reflection IOR to something like 15-50, put the color into reflection color, play with glossiness. And remember that the look of metal/highly reflective materials very much depend on the environment which they reflect.
