Hello there,

I am trying to use UVW Randomizer on a wood material on 3ds Max. The randomizer works but there is a problem. The wood material has a diffuse map, a reflection map, a glossiness map and a bump map. The problem is that the UVW Randomizer randomizes differently these maps. That means that the bump is not aligned with the diffuse and so on.
Any solution to that?

Thanks

So long as the settings in the UVW Randomizer are identical (including the seed), and the maps are the same image size as each other, I'd have expected the randomizations to match. Can you share a simplified scene? Or at very least a few screen grabs that show the material set ups (with the UVW Randomizer details on show)?

Also, are all the maps different from each other, or is it specific to bump and/or displacement that are different?

Hello Thomas,

You are absolutely right. I have missed click the mode on the bump map. Everything is alright. I am just dumb :)

Easy thing to have happen, not a dumb thing, just an easy thing :) Above all, glad it is working now!
